New Delhi: A bomb threat call was received for a flight coming from Moscow to Delhi on late Thursday night. The Delhi police swung into action as soon as the flight landed in the city around 3.20 am. All passengers and crew members were deboarded, news agency ANI reported. The bomb threat call was received for Aeroflot SU 232 coming from Moscow and it had 386 passengers and 16 crew onboard.
“Our investigation is underway at the airport, all the passengers and their luggage are being checked and the SOPs are followed, the aircraft is currently in the isolation bay,” an official investigation team told ANI.

Reportedly, the call regarding the bomb in the flight was received at 11.15 pm on Thursday. The plane landed on runway 29 and was thoroughly checked for any bomb inside it.
“There was a call at 11:15 pm about a bomb in the flight coming from Moscow to Terminal 3 (T3) at 3:20 tonight. Flight number SU232 landed on runway 29,” the official said.
However, nothing suspicious was found in the flight and was declared safe.
Earlier, on September 10 also, a bomb threat call for a London-bound Air India flight was received at the airport after that security agencies were alerted.
