Janhvi Kapoor is the eldest daughter of the late Indian actress Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor. She is an upcoming actress, who will make her major silver screen debut with Karan Johar’s film Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter.
Jhanvi was born on March 7, 1997, in Mumbai and did her schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai. She later pursued an acting course at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, California. She is the half-sister of Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor. In 2015, Jhanvi declined a role opposite Mahesh Babu that was offered to her for her debut. According to reports, she might also be seen in the Hindi remake of the Marathi blockbuster film Sairat.
